Hello
Hello, and welcome! I’m Karen, a dedicated instructor in baby massage, baby yoga, and yoga for toddlers, children, and teens – and a proud mum to my two wonderful children, Theo and Aria. My passion is creating joyful, nurturing spaces where children and families can explore yoga and massage together, learning new skills, having fun, and building stronger connections.

It’s truly exciting to invite families, nurseries, and schools into these sessions. Each class is carefully designed to foster growth and connection, whether that’s a one-to-one session focused on individual needs, a group class where families bond together, or a session specially tailored for nurseries and schools. Yoga and massage are powerful tools for fostering development, relaxation, and joy – and I feel incredibly fortunate to share that with each family and child I meet.

Before focusing fully on wellness, I worked as an Assistant Headteacher in a secondary school, where I still support part-time with school visits and the Duke of Edinburgh programme. This background in education, along with my qualifications in first aid (16-hour certification), Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) training, and Level 2 safeguarding, means I bring a holistic and safety-focused approach to every session.

Leaving full-time teaching allowed me to spend more time with Theo and Aria and fully pursue this passion for yoga, wellbeing, and outdoor education. I look forward to welcoming you into this journey, where together we’ll create moments of learning, bonding, and delight for you and your family. Thank you for being here.
My Story
I had my first child, Theo, just as the world was emerging from lockdown. The baby classes I attended were great fun, but with face masks and limited opportunities to connect with other parents, it often felt isolating. When I had my daughter in a post-lockdown world, I realised just how much I had missed out on the first time around!

After maternity leave, I returned to my much-loved job in education, which was rewarding in so many ways. However, I soon realised I wanted more time with my two children. This shift gave me the chance to reflect on my passions and what I truly wanted for the future.

As a keen triathlete, I believe that sport, mindfulness, time outdoors, and a healthy lifestyle are all key to a happy, fulfilling life. Inspired by this, I trained in children’s yoga through the Yogabeez programme and in Baby Massage through the Hands on Babies course. This training allowed me to bring together everything I love: education, fitness, and mindfulness.
